Job Full Description:

The primary function of the Affordable Housing Development Manager is to be the subject matter expert of affordable housing regulations and the grant/tax process. Ensure the project maintains affordable housing compliance throughout the project life cycle.
Project Development:
• • Identify potential development sites and conduct feasibility studies.
• • Analyze market needs, target demographics, and design appropriate housing units.
• • Secure funding through grants, tax credits, and private investments.
• • Develop project budgets and financial projections.
• • Manage the permitting process with local agencies.
Collaboration:
• Coordinate with various development departments and functions to take projects vertical.
• Collaborate with community organizations, neighborhood groups, and government officials to build support for projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and affordable housing regulations.
Job Experience
What You will Bring!
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in real estate development, urban planning, business administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in affordable housing development, including knowledge of relevant regulations and funding sources.
• Strong financial analysis skills and excellent project management skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and budgets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Understanding of local zoning and permitting processes.
• Familiarity with housing development financing mechanisms such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
