Job Full Description:
Our client is looking for a dynamic and versitile Event Sales Professional. This is a hyrid role, that will be a mix of in-office, on-site at venues, working from home and attending events. Given the industry, this role will also require some evening and weekend work, but will offer 2 days off each week.
This person will have a passion for networking and the ability to build strong client relationships. They will manage leads, conduct client consultations, and collaborate closely with venue managers and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be active in networking groups and city organizations, helping drive event sales and parternships.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Promptly respond to inquiries, nurture client relationships, and guide clients through the booking process
- Conduct thorough consultations to match client needs with our venue and catering options
- Create custom proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings
- Actively promote our venues and services across multiple markets
- Network at city group meetings, industry events, and other gatherings to foster community connections and build our brand
Job Experience
Desired Event Sales Manager candidates will have:
- 2+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or a related field
- Proven networking success with established connections in city or business groups
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with CRM software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
