Pay: $75,000 - $85,000/year

Job Full Description:

This role requires 100% travel, with milage reimbursement and eligible for a company car after 90 days. 

As a Hospice Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and designated communities, providing education on hospice care topics.  Additionally you will support the intake process to ensure timely and accurate referral coordination as well as:

  • Achieve admission and call volume targets
  • Coordinate daily sales and marketing operations, including the implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Build and monitor customer perceptions of our company as a high-quality service provider
  • Document all sales activities in the CRM according to organizational requirements
  • Utilize marketing and promotional strategies to achieve budgetary sales volume goals
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitors' positions
  • Enhance communication flow between patients, familiies, caregivers, facilities, physician teams, and other hospice support vendors
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about hospice, encouraging informed decision-making
  • Assist the Director of Patient Services/Regional Director in setting volume projections for the annual budget and allocating resources for the marketing department withing budgetary limits
  • Conduct ongoing marketing assessments and help develop a comprehensive marketing plan to meet budgetary volume goals
  • Coordinate and schedule marketing events, vendor fairs, and exhibitis across various territories
  • Provide ongoing training and support for the Care Transition Team, including mentoring and shadowing Care Transition Coordinators
  • Assist in orienting new marketing team members
  • Lead strategic planning efforts, identifying opportunites for additional or improved services to meet customer needs
  • Maintain and share extensive marketing knowledge with relevant organizational personnel
  • Stay informed about community resources and assist customers in accessing these resources if services are not provided
  • Monitor and report on the cost-effectiveneess of marketing efforts
  • Perform other  job-related tasks as requested beyond the stated duties and responsibilities

Job Experience

Desired Hospice Account Executive candidates will possess: 

  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
  • Preferred clinical background and familiarity with hospital settings
  • Skilled in positioning services and interacting tactfully with customers and clients
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
  • Exhibitis autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperartion in job performance
