Support After the Hire

After a recruiting firm finds you the right candidate and you make the hire, your relationship with the firm is usually concluded. At Specialized Recruiting Group Stillwater, we believe in sustaining that relationship to help your company keep growing. As Director of Operations and Account Management, I have the privilege of leading those efforts and advocating for the companies we work with.

Why would I need support after the hire?

These are several of the many ways an ongoing relationship with a search firm is invaluable.

  1. Ensuring the hire’s success. After you hire your preferred candidate from the options we present, we handle offer negotiations and assist with onboarding.
  2. Continued growth. As the need to fill more positions arises, it (literally) pays to have a partner who is already familiar with your company to find qualified candidates.
  3. Transitional times. For any number of reasons, you may need to restructure your organization. Through continuous communication, we stay on top of your evolving needs to present you with solutions that match them. 
  4. Additional services. No matter which search service you need first, we are here to help you hire candidates at every level in your organization. We answer your questions and advise you on the best options for your next search.

Quality Control

To begin our initial search, we develop a deep understanding of what makes your company’s culture unique. Our approach varies case by case but always includes thorough conversations with leadership and, whenever possible, in-person visits to your organization.

By the time our search is complete and you have chosen one of our candidates for a role, we know precisely who you want to work with and why. When you need to hire again, we are already by your side and skilled at identifying the strongest candidates for your current needs.

Regular Check-Ins

One of my favorite parts of this job is staying in touch with leadership at the companies we partner with. At least once a week, I update companies on our active searches and check in to see if there are any updates on their end.

Every quarter, I connect with all the companies we are working with to set up a meeting where I present our progress on active searches.  This often takes the form of a phone or Teams call, and I am always delighted when they can join me for an in-person lunch. I strongly value feedback and hearing how hires from previous searches are performing in their new roles.

Candidates Direct to Your Inbox

On top of regular check-ins, SRG Stillwater is pleased to offer companies a weekly email with resumes from high-quality candidates. Our Executive and Direct Hire searches usually target passive candidates, but we are always working with and placing active job seekers as well. This free, optional offering is a great way to discover active job seekers whose skills may align with your current or upcoming hiring needs.
