Job Full Description:

An innovative leader in the windows and doors industry is looking for a detail-oriented Retail Installation Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the management of retail fulfillment operations, ensuring timely and high-quality installations. This role requires direct supervision of subcontractor crews, customer satisfaction, and adherence to performance metrics. The Retail Installation Manager will play a crucial role in coaching teams, handling escalated customer service issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

Retail Installation Manager Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Retail Installation strategy in collaboration with manager to optimize operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train subcontract installation crews, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular job-site visits to coach subcontract crews, ensuring compliance with company policies and installation protocols.
  • Manage escalated customer service situations by addressing complaints and resolving job-site issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to identify process improvements that enhance performance metrics such as First Time Completion, Install Lead Time and other defined measurables.
  • Ensure timely final payments from customers, maintaining a zero account in collections by year-end.
  • Lead training sessions and meetings to communicate installation methods, protocols, and updates on new products.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics related to retail installations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Job Experience

  • OSHA Level 30 Construction Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (can be obtained post-hire).
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct management experience in a related field, preferably in construction or installation environments.
  • Basic knowledge of residential construction principles, with in-depth expertise in window and door installation techniques.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with order management/customer relationship management software.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry objects over 50 lbs, navigate varied job sites, and communicate clearly across various channels.

Job Education

High school diploma required.
