A local leader in heat-treating services across multiple industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, quality, and leadership, with a commitment to driving operational excellence. Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing, production processes, quality control, and financial performance of the facility.
- Oversee team leaders in production, maintenance, quality assurance, and administration.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Lead employee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Address workplace concerns and collaborate with corporate HR to resolve issues.
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day operations, driving ongoing improvement efforts.
- Research and execute projects, including equipment upgrades and process enhancements.
- Enforce company policies and procedures at the plant level.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality protocols.
Schedule: 1st Shift, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Job Experience
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management.
- 5+ years of heat-treating industry experience (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Proven experience maintaining safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.
Job Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field
