Job Full Description:

A local property management group is looking to add an assistant property manager to its growing team. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, people-focused, and have excellent phone skills. Their team members are team and sales-oriented and extremely motivated. This position requires fine-tuned computer and paperwork skills; previous experience in affordable housing is extremely desirable.

Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:

  • Greets walk-in guests in the office.
  • Answering phones and directing phone traffic.
  • Communicating with current and prospective tenants.
  • Explaining leasing agreements including the guidelines and requirements of affordable housing.
  • Renewing Leases.
  • Processing applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 1st Shift, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Experience

Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:

  • 2 years of leasing experience required.
  • Previous experience with affordable housing is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Administrative, organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service skills to interact effectively with employees and outside customers.
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly without losing attention to detail.
