Job Full Description:
A local property management group is looking to add an assistant property manager to its growing team. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, people-focused, and have excellent phone skills. Their team members are team and sales-oriented and extremely motivated. This position requires fine-tuned computer and paperwork skills; previous experience in affordable housing is extremely desirable.
Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:
- Greets walk-in guests in the office.
- Answering phones and directing phone traffic.
- Communicating with current and prospective tenants.
- Explaining leasing agreements including the guidelines and requirements of affordable housing.
- Renewing Leases.
- Processing applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: 1st Shift, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Job Experience
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
- 2 years of leasing experience required.
- Previous experience with affordable housing is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Administrative, organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities and meet deadlines.
- Customer service skills to interact effectively with employees and outside customers.
- Ability to shift priorities quickly without losing attention to detail.
