We seek a strategic and visionary Vice President of Operations to lead the Mechanical division. This role is pivotal in shaping the performance of our Operations Department, driving business development, overseeing project execution, and fostering collaborative relationships across all teams. Job Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Direct the overall performance of the Operations Department, establishing clear goals and strategies for short and long-term success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with managers across groups to address challenges, enhance performance, and implement best practices.
- Operations Oversight: Review and resolve major operational issues, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Staff Development: Lead recruitment and staffing decisions, mentor managers, and oversee training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
- Financial Management: Maintain accountability for the financial performance of the Operations Department, driving efficiency and profitability.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service by working closely with team leaders to address and fulfill client needs.
- Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess employee performance and implement compensation and bonus structures that reflect contributions to company success.
Job Education
Qualifications:
- Proven leader with over 20 years of experience in operations management, ideally within the mechanical or construction industries.
- Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to fostering a safety-first culture within the organization.
